On behalf of the Alexandra Centre Society, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your incredible donations and support of our Home for the Holidays program 2023.
Our 2023 Holiday Campaign is a bit different this year . . .
We are excited to bring you “Home for the Holidays”
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to celebrate the joys of the holiday season. Through our “Home for the Holidays” program, instead of providing holiday hampers, we want to create a magical, memorable experience while fostering community connections and addressing certain needs within our community.
Residents of Inglewood, Ramsay, Victoria Park, East Village and Beltline are invited into our “home” to celebrate the season together with a fun and festive event:
WHEN: Sunday, December 17 from 1:00PM – 5:00 pm
WHERE: ALEXANDRA CENTRE DANCE HALL
We are transforming the Dance Hall into a festive community party where community members of all ages can enjoy a magical, memorable holiday experience.
Some of the festivities include:
Photo booth and photo frame decorating to take home a holiday photo
Movies, games and music
Snacks, gourmet hot chocolate and cookie decorating
Children receive a stuffed toy and a book (while quantities last)
And more!
Secret Santa Nominations are now closed
Thank you to those who nominated people for our first annual Secret Santa program. We had a large number of entries, which are currently being reviewed by an independent panel.
Like many agencies, our funding is limited, so we will do our best to help as many people as we can. If selected, the nominator will be contacted with pick up instructions starting December 18. Please do not call or email the ACS office.
100% of donations to the 2023 Home for the Holidays campaign will help us:
Provide support for fellow community members to help with food, clothing, and other essentials through our Secret Santa program.
Create our event December 17th where community members can gather to celebrate the holiday season.
