Rental Policy

July - August 2020 Rentals

The Alexandra Dance Hall is available to the public for rental over the summer.  Rentals will be limited to a 50-person capacity.  The kitchen facility will remain closed.  Special guidelines will be negotiated with the renter to ensure COVID-19 guidelines are being followed.  Please contact ACS staff for rates  and additional details.

Fall 2020, Winter 2020 and 2021 Rentals

The ACS will place a hold on dates for all rental requests beyond September 2020.  The Alexandra Dance Hall, Molly Cropper Board Room, and Rose Room spaces are all available for rental holds.  For event bookings in September or October, the ACS will confirm the booking 30 days prior to the event and a deposit payment will be required at that time.  For bookings beyond November 2020, the ACS will confirm the rental booking with the renter in September 2020 after monitoring the pandemic progression over the summer.

Programs

Summer Programs

The ACS will continue to act as a Good Food Box hub for July, and then resume orders in late September. No other in-person programs are scheduled this summer.  Please check our programs section of the website, to stay updated on each of our classes and programs.

Fall Programs

ACS staff are working with instructors to determine how we can safely deliver programming in the Fall.  We expect to make announcements regarding our Fall programing in August.  Please stay tuned!

We appreciate your patience as we continue to adapt to the changing COVID-19 environment.  The Alexandra Centre Society is a charitable organization that aims to serve inner-city communities.  If you have any suggestions for programs and services that could be of benefit to the community during this time, we encourage you to contact our staff to discuss your ideas.  Thank you for your interest in the Alexandra Centre Society!
