Alexandra Centre Society - Re-Opening Strategy





Alberta's new Stage 2 Guidelines have come into effect, and community centres, the category in which the Alexandra Centre Society falls under, is allowed to re-open.  The Alexandra Centre Society (ACS) is committed to providing a safe environment for its users and members.  As such, there are some changes made to our operations to ensure users of our facility can access the space safely.


Office Hours

The Alexandra Centre Society office will have limited office hours.

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday's from 9am to 1:30pm our office is open by appointment only.
  • Friday's staff will continue to work remotely, and can be reached via e-mail at or by leaving a voicemail at 403-269-5588.

Guests entering the facility will be screened and will be asked to abide by the COVID-19 measures in place on premise.


Rental Policy


Fall 2020, Winter 2020 and 2021 Rentals

The ACS will take rental holds, and confirm the booking 30 days prior to the event.  Effective October 26, 2020, the maximum capacity for our Alexandra Dance Hall is 15 people for 'social' events, as defined by the AB Government, and 36 people for 'structured' events, as defined by the AB Government.  For more details please refer to .
