ACS Bulding in the trees

HELLO, NEIGHBOUR!

The Alexandra Centre Society (ACS) became a registered charity in 1975.

The Alexandra Centre, our beloved building, has been at the center of the community since 1902.

Once the building was threatened to be no more but instead was reimagined with a new purpose, to support our neighbours.

The Society is managed by our charity organization, the Alexandra Centre Society (or as you know us - ACS).

Today the Alexandra Centre is the beating heart of our own community serving not just the surrounding neighbours in Inglewood, but also multiple nearby communities in order to make a larger, more meaningful impact.

ACS supports in ways other organizations
don’t.

We listen to our neighbours and fill in the gaps by offering support in matters that affect us all.

We care for and protect a piece of Calgary’s history while offering affordable spaces for essential services within our building like daycare and health care.

ACS houses useful programs such as the CVITP tax program, special events, community classes, and camps as well as providing community-use spaces.
