Christmas Hampers

Christmas Hampers

For many Christmas is not a time filled with festivity and hope, but it can be...because Santa's got lots of help here!

Each year the Alexandra Centre Society comes together to carefully organize and assemble food hampers that bring comfort, joy, and warm respite from hard times, because everyone should feel the true spirit of Christmas!

The Alexandra Centre Society is providing Christmas hampers to 91 families within our local service area for our 2018 season!

With the help of..

  • community service agencies who refer families & individuals in need;
  • local businesses, merchants, corporate groups, and individual donors who give generously to our cause;
  • our dedicated volunteers who put in hundreds of hours to help us bring it all together

...WE THANK YOU!!!

Our 2018 program is underway.  This season we are preparing to provide 91 hampers to families and individuals in need.  We need your help to accomplish this goal!

We are happily accepting sponsorships for groceries to support families and individuals.

$150 supports a family of 2;

$300 supports a family of 4;

$450 supports a family of 6.

Any amount contributed really does make a difference in helping sponsor groceries for those who need it.

We have currently raised almost $3000 out of our $10,000 goal.

We are also collecting the following items:

Non-Perishable Food

Hams

New Mittens, Toques, Scarves for men, women and children

Reusable Grocery Bags

Grocery Store Gift Cards (in $10 increments)

Toiletry items needed: Toothbrushes, deodorants for men and women, and socks for men, women & children.

Come join us for Christmas Hamper Packing night on December 18, 2018, at 6:00pm, in our Alexandra Dance Hall.  Please RSVP to Sarah.
